Russell-Cooke supports UK education initiative
Date posted: Wednesday, 11th July 2012
Russell-Cooke continues its ongoing support of educational initiatives, recently partnering with national project The Schools Law & Citizenship Web.
The initiative aims to bring teachers and lawyers together to introduce pupils to the legal system and helps pupils to understand rights and responsibilities brought about by the law. A key feature of the scheme is the use of current news stories to bring citizenship topics to life in the classroom.
The firm is keen to contribute towards furthering school pupils' understanding of how the legal system works and how it impacts upon daily life. We are supporting schools in two London Boroughs, which include Kingston Grammar School and Putney High School, amongst others.
Managing Partner Dominic Fairclough commented that "The Schools Law & Citizenship Web helps support local teachers and parents in improving pupils' all round education and is warmly supported by us."
