Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Nomination for Russell-Cooke's Samantha Little

Samantha Little, head of Russell-Cooke's Children Department, has been nominated for a Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award in the Family category. Finalists for the awards, which are organised by The Legal Aid Practitioners Group, were selected by a panel chaired by Cherie Booth QC and judges included Polly Toynbee of the Guardian and Doreen Lawrence of the Stephen Lawrence Trust. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 1st December 2008.
Samantha has long been recognised as one of the country's leading lawyers for public law children work and is described in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as "totally dedicated to her clients". She is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel and the Association of Lawyers for Children. She's also an active member of Resolution and works with both the Children and Skills committees.
