Russell Cooke Putney London 2

About Caroline

I help individuals resolve disputes relating to their homes or housing needs, and I help charities, housing co-operatives and tenant management organisations to resolve property disputes relating to their properties.

Caroline has substantial experience in a range of housing and property matters, including possession, homelessness, injunction and disrepair claims. She also pursues claims on behalf of clients for breaches of the Equality Act, including racial and disability discrimination.

Notably, she acted for some of those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire to ensure they were rehoused, and representing them in the Public Inquiry.

Caroline is part of a team of experienced lawyers dealing with cladding and remediation cases.

Caroline has a special interest in homelessness law, particularly homeless appeals in the county court.

Caroline also advises charities, housing co-operatives and TMOs in a range of property cases.

Caroline qualified in 2011 and joined Russell-Cooke in 2016. She was promoted to senior associate in 2020.

Caroline Brosnan is a conscientious, reliable, and trustworthy lawyer of integrity. She has been nothing but supportive and reassuring; she patiently explained everything in a way that was simple yet thorough and made sure I felt protected and safe throughout the process.
