Camilla is a Partner in the Family Team and set up the Firm's Central London family department in 2006 after spending 10 years working in the Putney family department. She advises on all aspects of family law including divorce, separation, financial settlements, cohabitation and matters involving children. Her particular expertise lies in advising individuals, including non-residents, on complex financial settlements, often involving valuable trusts, companies and high-value pensions. Camilla also has considerable experience in relation to pre-nuptial agreements.
She is committed to finding the right legal process within which to resolve a family dispute and to helping clients resolve their issues in a constructive and cost-effective manner.
Camilla is a trained practitioner of collaborative law, a form of dispute resolution that encourages couples to play an active role in the resolution process and is a member of the London Collaborative Group. She is also a qualified Family Mediator with Resolution, the association of family lawyers.
Camilla joined Russell-Cooke in 1996 and became a Partner in 1998. She has published articles in the Family Law Journal and is an active member of Resolution (previously the Solicitor's Family Law Association), having sat on the Standards Committee, edited the organisation's "Guide to Good Practice on Correspondence" and been involved in the redrafting of its code of conduct in 2006. She is recommended by both the Legal 500 and Chambers and is described as 'a friendly and considerate individual with extensive legal knowledge' (Chambers 2011).
