Commercial Litigation
“Administrative law and judicial review is a growing part of the team's caseload”
Introduction
We act for businesses and public organisations in all matters relating to court proceedings, most of them in the High Court or superior courts. A growing proportion of the cases we take on involve challenges to decisions made by public bodies or institutions.
The department has a varied caseload; areas of specific expertise include:
- professional negligence litigation
- disputes arising out of building contracts
- disputes arising out of wills and the administration of estates
- shareholder disputes
- the law relating to solicitors
The team includes a specialist in insolvency litigation, acting predominantly for receivers and liquidators.
