Introduction
We are a team of four solicitors specialising in employment law. We work for both employees and employers, which we think is good for our clients; it helps us see the big picture and anticipate the aims and actions of the other side.
Many employment disputes are either resolved amicably or settled at an early stage, but if that is not possible, our experience and commercial awareness give the best chance of a positive outcome.
Many of our clients are small businesses or creative partnerships. Recent changes in employment law are particularly significant for these firms. An occasional chat with a specialist employment lawyer is usually money well spent, if only to check that all the relevant procedures are being followed.

Age Discriminataion
Legislation prohibiting age discrimination has recently been introduced. You may not be aware that it is anticipated that this will generate more litigation than all the other discrimination legislation put together.
Russell-Cooke held a brief seminar entitled ‘Age Discrimination: Are You Up To Date?’ which looked at the impact of the legislation on businesses and the steps employers can take in response to the changes.
