Biography
Colette Kelly
Solicitor in Russell-Cooke's Criminal Litigation department.
Admitted in 1996, Colette joined Russell-Cooke as a senior assistant solicitor in July 2007. She has extensive experience in all criminal defence work with a particular focus on armed robbery, serious assaults and sexual offences including those involving rape, and downloading of indecent images of children. Colette has participated in training programmes for Legal Network TV.
Colette is a Duty solicitor and Magistrates' court advocate.
Notable Cases:
R v Hansen - one of four youths charged with murder - reported nationally.
R v Dixon - allegation of murder - prosecution accepted plea to manslaughter.
R v Page - acquitted of firearms offence, false imprisonment and dangerous driving.
R v Muir - allegation of GBH in road rage incident - acquitted after trial.
R v Fragoulis - multiple rape allegations
