Biography

Jonathan Conder

Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and joined Russell-Cooke in 2003. He has wide ranging experience of criminal law matters and specialises in youth crime, motoring offences, football related offending, including football banning orders and prison law.

He is a duty solicitor and has extensive experience as a magistrates' court advocate.

Notable cases:

R v M, B & M - charged with football related violent disorder, clients received community penalties after pleading guilty to affray

R v N - charged with conspiracy to kidnap and blackmail, client only one of 7 whose case was dismissed by the Judge following an argument of no case to answer

R v H - client charged with breach of a football banning order - Crown offered no evidence after representations that the breach proceedings were defective

R v R - client charged with rape, acquitted after trial

R v L - client charged with causing death by dangerous driving, acquitted after trial
