John Weaver
Russell-Cooke Partner specialising in commercial and regulatory litigation.
Regularly deals with litigation involving allegations of fraud or dishonesty including alleged transaction sales at an undervalue, forged instruments, avoidance of contracts of insurance etc,.
Particular expertise in obtaining freezing and tracing injunctions both in the UK and abroad.
Appointed as a company inspector by the Secretary of Trade and Industry, and as independent counsel for the police force, advising on issues of legal professional privilege.
As part of a team recently wound up two unauthorised Collective Investment Schemes valued in excess of £20 million.

Educated at James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. Qualified in 1996. Cross qualified as an English solicitor in 2000. Currently undertaking an MSc majoring in Fraud and Risk Management at Nottingham Business School.
