Biography
Peter Cadman
Partner and head of Russell-Cooke’s Professional Regulation department.
Peter is a highly experienced litigator who is retained by the Law Society, the Architects Registration Board, The General Dental Council and the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT). He is adviser to the Law Society with regard to Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Rules and proposed amendments to the Solicitors Act and Rules.
Peter has also represented individuals and professional bodies on appeal before the High Court and the Master of the Rolls as a solicitor advocate.
Peter has also undertaken instructions from clients on DTI/SFO matters ranging from disqualification from being Company Directors through to Serious Fraud Office matters. Peter has also lectured on behalf of ILEX on their disciplinary process to Council members and Committee members.
Peter has represented sports organisations, clubs and individuals in disciplinary and regulatory matters and with general advice. He is a Commission Chairman at the FA Premier League and chair of the British Fencing Association Disciplinary Committee.
