For the first time in many years Russell-Cooke is offering a summer placement scheme in 2006. A limited number of places will be offered for a week in early July. Successful applicants will spend their week in one department and will also have the opportunity to learn more about the various departments in the firm and the career opportunities on offer.

We will be assessing your suitability for interview for a training contract at Russell-Cooke. We will therefore expect you to demonstrate the qualities you have that would make you a successful trainee and, later, a qualified solicitor at Russell-Cooke.

We expect the scheme to be popular but have a very limited number of places. If your application for a summer placement is not successful please do not assume that this means you will not be invited to interview for a training contract.

We are looking for people with partnership potential who can cope with responsibility

You must have

::  three good A levels including at least two at grade A and one at grade B
::  at least an upper second degree (if you have already graduated)

how to apply

If you wish to apply for a summer placement please complete and return the online application form by the 24th of March. We will be interviewing candidates on the 5th and 6th of April.

We regret that if you are unable to attend on either of these dates we will not be able to consider your summer placement application, but this will not affect any application that you wish to make for a training contract.
