In the February issue of The Expert Witness, partner Jason Hunter explores how many experts in civil litigation may not be experts after all. He likens negligent expert responses to "lazy parenting" because who else says "because I say so and probably then immediately lose all credibility."

You can read Jason's article, Experts - a Risky Business, on page 66 of the journal.

Associate, Georgia Haughney, also features in February's issue. Georgia reveals how COVID-19 and its restrictions have inadvertently increased the occurrence of predatory marriages due to elderly people social isolating and therefore more susceptible to grooming.

You can read Georgia's article, How Covid-19 has Created Fertile Ground for Predatory Marriages, on pages 51-52 of the journal.
