Russell-Cooke has made eight promotions to partner and senior associate effective 1 July 2014.
Nicola O'Connor and Sarah Richardson have both been appointed partner:
- Nicola O'Connor joined the firm in 2005 and has specialised in criminal defence work for more than seventeen years. She undertakes complex criminal cases including regulatory offences in the agricultural sector.
- Sarah Richardson moved to the UK from Australia in 1989. She joined the firm in 2007 as a specialist in children law. Recently she has dealt increasingly with child protection issues for organisations. Sarah is also a family mediator.
These two promotions bring the firm's partnership to a total of 52 with more than 38% of them being female.
John Gould, senior partner at Russell-Cooke, said: "These promotions reflect the breadth of Russell-Cooke's practice. Our clients look to us to provide highly specialist services at partner level. These promotions will further strengthen areas such as the application of criminal law to the agricultural sector and child protection issues for organisations".
Those promoted to senior associate are Ed Cracknell, Matt Hutchinson, Sukanya Ransford, Arshoo Singh, David Stockley and Chris Williams who together bolster the property litigation, commercial property, charities and social business, private client and litigation practice areas.
All the above eight promotions are effective 1 July 2014.
