Russell-Cooke has expanded its charity and social business team with the hire of senior associate Chris Rowse.
Chris joins from Withers LLP, where he was a solicitor in the charities and philanthropy team for over six years. He specialises in advising charities and social businesses on governance and commercial matters including trading, joint ventures, fundraising, establishing new charities and regulatory matters involving the Charity Commission.
Chris's recent experience includes advising a prime contractor on multi-million pound payment by results contracts with the Department for Work and Pensions, a humanitarian organisation on an agreement with a corporate supporter for sponsorship and fundraising globally and a professional membership association on its constitution and governance.
Andrew Studd, partner in the charity and social business team, said "Chris is a welcome addition to the team. His expertise and experience compliments the team's existing capabilities and his style of working fits well with our client focused approach."
