Morris is a partner in the Residential Property Group.
He specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing, acting for a broad range of clients from first-time buyers to seasoned investors and developers. He acts regularly for solicitors of other firms.
His expertise includes freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, development projects and new build transactions.
He also works closely with the lease extension and enfranchisement team on transactions involving the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987.
Morris understands the need for reliability and effective communication and ensures that his clients are kept fully informed as to the status of their transaction throughout the process. When issues present themselves in the course of a transaction, a sensible, constructive approach is always taken.
He delivers regular external seminars providing practical advice on dealing with common pitfalls encountered in residential property transactions.
