A report from the Migration Advisory Committee suggested that EU workers coming to the UK should be given no preference for visas after Brexit. It is also suggested the government should scrap the current limit on highly-skilled workers altogether.
Edward Wanambwa appears in HR Magazine saying: "there are currently just over 29,000 Tier 2 and 5 sponsor licences to be able to lawfully employ (EU citizens), this number could conceivably rise to hundreds of thousands".
Edward is a partner in and head of the immigration team and is also a partner in the employment team. He has advised on both immigration and employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2003.
