The Supreme Court, the highest court in England and Wales, has today handed down its landmark ruling in the case of Radmacher v Granatino. The judgment, which is binding upon all other courts in this country, has given new status to pre-nuptial agreements, potentially changing the way in which the assets of a couple will be divided upon separation where they have previously entered into a pre-nuptial agreement.
