After the unexpectedly decisive election, we will consider what the outcome will mean for charities and social businesses. Members from the Russell-Cooke team will be joined by Karl Wilding (director of public policy at NCVO) and Joanna Pittman (partner at Sayer Vincent) for a panel discussion, followed by a Q & A session.

This seminar will take stock of recent legal, financial and policy developments and consider what lies ahead, including:

  • changes to the Charity Commission and the regulation of charities
  • opportunities for social investment
  • developments in employment and volunteering
  • data protection and social media
  • conflicts of interest
  • the new SORP

Please note that this event will start at the earlier time of 4.15pm
