Rachael Beaumont was part of the winning team that held up the Chairman's Trophy on 6 June 2010, after fighting off the competition to secure the BBLRC a historic win at the Henley Women's Regatta.

Competing as part of the Senior Quadruple Scull team for BBLRC, the ladies completed the course in 5 minutes and 8 seconds to assure the first ever win at the event for the club.  As one of the smaller clubs on the tidal stretch of the Thames, this win is particularly impressive and demonstrates their remarkable progress, as a few years ago entering this regatta would not have been contemplated.

Senior partner John Gould said: "We are proud of Rachael's achievement at Henley last week.  Russell-Cooke has long recognised and supports women's rowing having sponsored Olympic gold medallist rower Rebecca Romero since she was a junior and throughout her career."

The Henley Women's Regatta hosts around 2000 competitors each year from the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia making it the largest women's rowing regatta in the world. It is held over three days with races 1500 metres long upstream in Henley upon Thames.
