On 10 May 2012, Russell-Cooke hosted a highly topical debate entitled "Enforcing Regulatory Standards in a Liberalised Market" which took place at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank, London in front of a large and distinguished audience.
The debate was chaired by The Right Honourable Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury Master of the Rolls. David Edmonds (Chairman of the Legal Services Board) gave the keynote speech (view the full version). John Wotton (President of the Law Society) and Maura McGowan (Vice Chairman of the Bar) responded. The lively debate continued on into the evening.
