Russell-Cooke has appointed five new partners with effect from 1 July 2012. The new appointments bring the firms' partnership to 52. Please click on the respective biography to learn more about each new partner.

Rita Bhargava partner in the Private Client team advises clients on probate, wills and inheritance tax and has substantial specialist experience in the Court of Protection. Rita has a particular interest in issues relating to the elderly and incapacity. Rita is a member of SFE (Solicitors For the Elderly) and is an elected member of the STEP England and Wales Regional Committee as the central London representative.

Kieran Bowe advises families and individuals on matters including estate planning, administration of high value estates and trust administration. Kieran is currently Vice President of the Surrey Law Society and a Committee Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Kate Hamilton isa Family law specialist with particular expertise in advising on financial issues before and after marriage, disputes between unmarried couples and private law and international children work. She is a collaborative lawyer, a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and a Resolution Accredited Specialist in the area of cohabitation and financial provision upon divorce.

David Webster of the Corporate & Commercial team advises clients on a variety of commercial and corporate matters. His particular areas of expertise include EU law, partnership law and advising property businesses on all aspects of company and commercial law, including joint ventures and company law and governance.

Guy Wilmot provides specialist advice in software development, licensing and subscription agreements, website terms of use commercial contracts in the IT and e-commerce field, copyright advice for technology businesses, and brand registration, protection and licensing. Guy is a member of the SCL (the IT Law People).
