Richard Frimston, partner and head of Russell-Cooke's private client group, has joined the multi-national panel of Presiding Judges for the tenth annual STEP Private Client Awards, taking place on 8 September 2015.

The Private Client Awards celebrate excellence in private client practice, with 17 categories open to individuals and firms globally across the industry. The rigorous and impartial judging process by leading experts is a key feature of the Awards, which are widely seen as a hallmark of quality in the private client industry.

Richard, who was presented with the Geoffrey Shindler Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Profession at the 2014 Private Client Awards, brings expertise in wills, probate and tax-planning issues, as well as private international law to the panel of Presiding Judges.

On taking on the role of Presiding Judge this year, Richard said: 'I am very honoured to have been asked to act as a presiding judge. These awards do mean a great deal to everyone in the private client world and I am sure that this year, competition will be even fiercer than ever'.

The Awards are open to STEP members and non-members and nominations close on 30 April, with finalists announced in June.
