Rita Bhargava, partner in the private client team, has been elected as Deputy Chair for STEP England and Wales Regional Committee and will become Chair in 2016.

STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), is the worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning. Serving on the Committee since 2011, Rita's new role will involve  considering policy, education and business development initiatives for all STEP members across England and Wales including lawyers, accountants, barristers, financial advisers and trust companies.

Recognised by the Legal 500, Rita advises individuals and families on a wide range of private client issues, specialising in administration of estates and issues surrounding capacity, Court of Protection and Powers of Attorney.
