Russell-Cooke hosted two open days on Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 29 April aimed at graduates eligible to apply for a training contract to start in 2017.

We are unique in that we offer services to a mix of commercial, not-for-profit, regulatory and individual clients. Our variety of expertise means we can offer an unusually wide range of experience in areas including high-value commercial property, corporate law, charity, professional regulation, private client, family law as well as dispute resolution.

We are a Lex 100 top 20 firm in a number of categories and are known for offering challenging but rewarding work and giving our trainees a high level of responsibility. Trainees work in a friendly and supportive environment that looks to encourage their own unique development.

Graduates had the opportunity to meet experienced practitioners from a variety of departments, meet and chat with our current trainee solicitors, and take a guided tour around the offices.

Renowned for our breadth of work, unstuffy nature and high retention rate; Russell-Cooke is excellent preparation for a successful legal career and this is a good opportunity to meet practitioners at the firm and discuss life at Russell-Cooke.

Ricky Cella, trainee in the litigation team, shares his experience of life at Russell-Cooke, "As a trainee at Russell-Cooke I was afforded the opportunity to gain experience of a broad range of practice areas and to undertake work for a diverse range of businesses and individuals. Right from the beginning I was given real responsibility, often working on my own cases and having regular client contact. The support the firm gave me throughout the training contract allowed me to develop my skills and shape my future career."
