Russell-Cooke has enhanced its charity property practice with the hire of partner Andrew Small.
Andrew, previously at Stone King, joins the charity and social business team with a wealth of experience advising charities and other third sector bodies on their property issues and requirements, including sales, leases, management issues and developments. He has particular experience on property issues arising from charity mergers and incorporations, as well as being an expert on property issues for schools.
Whilst at Stone King, Andrew led the property support for its nationally top rated charity and education practices, building the London property team from scratch.
Andrew Studd, partner in the charity and social business team, commented “Andrew is a great addition to the team. His wealth of experience compliments our offering on all aspects of charity property law.”
Andrew Small added “I am delighted to be joining a firm with Russell-Cooke’s depth and breadth of expertise, with a real commitment to the charity sector.”
Andrew Small brings the number of partners at Russell-Cooke to 60. The charity and social business team is recognised as one of the leading legal teams advising charities in the UK. The team works with hundreds of charities, ranging from household names such as the British Heart Foundation and UNICEF UK to start-ups and local voluntary organisations. Sources in the legal directory Chambers UK (2018) say "they are able to give expert advice and guidance and they are warm, friendly and approachable."
