Russell-Cooke’s Family and Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence teams have been recommended by their peers in the first ever edition of The Times’ ‘Best Law Firms’ listing.

‘Best Law Firms 2019’ is a survey compiled with the help of Statista, a business market research firm, which contacted more than 20,000 solicitors and hundreds of clients in England and Wales and asked them to recommend the best law firms in various categories. Only those with the most votes made it into The Times’ list. There are 200 firms in the list, each commended in one or more of 31 categories of law.

According to The Times, the list is based primarily on one question asked of solicitors: other than your own firm, which practice would you instruct in this area of work?

Russell-Cooke’s teams in offices in London and in Kingston-upon-Thames were recommended.

Managing Partner Jonathan Thornton said: “We are delighted to have been mentioned by The Times in both the Family law and Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence categories. It is particularly gratifying that these recommendations came as a result of peer review, as our fellow lawyers are extremely important to us as both referrers of work and as clients. The Times Best Law Firms listing claims to name ‘the lawyers’ lawyers’, which is a description we often use about Russell-Cooke.”
