Russell-Cooke is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior associates to the partnership with effect from 1st July 2019.

Elliot Elsey joined Russell-Cooke in 2007 as a trainee and qualified into the commercial litigation team in 2009. Elliot's practice has a particular focus on fraud and asset tracing, professional negligence claims and commercial corporate disputes. Elliot is a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association (LSLA).

Michael Stacey trained at Russell-Cooke following eight years working at the Ministry of Justice and Legal Services Board. He qualified as a solicitor in March 2013. As part of the litigation team, Michael acts for regulators, lawyers, charities and other institutions. He has particular expertise in regulatory and public law and undertakes regulatory litigation and non-contentious advisory work. Michael is a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers and the LSLA.

These promotions follow the expansion of the litigation team earlier in 2019, with the appointment of Martin Rackstraw as a partner in the firm's fraud and criminal litigation department

John Gould, Senior Partner at Russell-Cooke, commented:

"We are delighted to be promoting two new partners within our litigation team. Contentious work continues to be core to the service we offer our clients and is very important to us as a business. We have a strong pedigree with excellent practitioners working across the spectrum of litigation work for businesses, regulators, individuals and charities. These partner promotions underline our commitment to growth and succession within the team."

"We congratulate Elliot and Michael and thank them for their ongoing contribution to the continuing success of Russell-Cooke."

The promotions bring the total number of partners at Russell-Cooke to 61.
