Anna is an associate in the property and housing litigation team.
She specialises in a wide variety of commercial property disputes with a particular emphasis on issues between landlords and tenants. Her experience includes business lease renewals, rent and service charge recovery, dilapidations and possession claims. She has advised on contractual disputes over the sale and purchase of land. She has also acted for land owners and occupiers in relation to nuisance claims, trespass, rights of way and the enforcement and release of restrictive covenants.
Anna has an interest in rights of light and has acted for a number of developers in assessing and managing their exposure to rights of lights claims.
She has worked in West End and City firms for 11 years prior to joining Russell-Cooke in 2019.
Acting for landlords and tenants in opposed and unopposed lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
Defending claims for injunctive relief from a developer client's neighbouring landowner resulting from the client's construction works. The claims were for interference with rights of way and rights of support.
Acting for banks, developers, individuals and commercial property companies in claims arising from negligent and in some case fraudulent acts by solicitors.
Advising a landowner on questions of ownership and liability relating to a dilapidated bridge. Successfully compelling the tenant to carry out repairs.
