Carina is a senior associate solicitor in the real estate team. 

Carina advises on all aspects of planning law, acting for a range of clients including utility companies, private developers, institutional investors, retailers and student accommodation providers.

Her experience includes providing strategic advice on planning applications, permitted development rights, the Community Infrastructure Levy and compulsory purchase and compensation. 

Carina also advises on planning appeals, judicial review claims, statutory challenges and enforcement.  In addition, she regularly negotiates planning and highways agreements and advises on acquisitions and disposals, as well as on refinancing and forward funding transactions.

Carina is a regular public speaker, with recent examples including several talks to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a seminar focused on Retirement Accommodation. She has also written for publications such as The Sunday Times, PrimeResi and LexisNexis.
Before joining Russell-Cooke in 2018, Carina spent six years at an international City law firm. She was promoted to senior associate in 2020.
