Joy is a consultant solicitor in the children team and has over 20 years' experience in the field. She specialises in all aspects of children law including Child Arrangement Orders relating to living and visiting arrangements for children and cases involving the intervention of social services. She has particular expertise in cases in which a parent suffers from mental health difficulties and cases where there is an allegation of non accidental injury or sexually inappropriate behaviour.

She is a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Courts (Civil Proceedings) advocacy rights and she specialises in advocacy.

Joy joined Russell-Cooke in 1986.
