Somaya is a paralegal in the fraud and criminal litigation team. 

Since graduating she has gained extensive experience within the Criminal Justice system. Her career began working with the Prisoners' Family and Friends Service in Woolwich Crown Court working closely with Witness Services. 

Somaya then went on to work within Thames Magistrates' Court as court administrator, serving four boroughs – Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. 

As court administrator, she worked between Thames Magistrates and Stratford Magistrates Court dealing mostly with adult trials and closed court youth cases. 

Somaya has also worked within the criminal law department of a busy London law firm. 

Somaya is working towards becoming Police Accredited and will be starting a graduate diploma in law in the near future.  

Somaya joined Russell-Cooke in 2018.
