Sorcha McGillycuddy is an associate in the private client team.

Sorcha advises clients on a range of matters including wills, tax planning, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probates and estate administration.

She has experience with high net worth estates that comprise of foreign assets and issues of domicile, advising clients on the rules of intestacy if there is no valid will and advising clients on setting up trusts as well as assisting trustees with the ongoing administration.

Sorcha qualified into the private client team of a City firm in 2019 and joined Russell-Cooke in October 2021.

Assisted with the ongoing administration of a life interest trust created by will, including advising the trustees of their duties to the beneficiaries.

Advised trustees on setting up a charitable trust, including registering with the charity commission and assisting with the annual returns.

Dealing with complex estates and trusts, including advising on assets in New York, Isle of Man and Ireland.

A member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates.

Completed the GDL at City University and the LPC at the University of Law.

Qualified into the Private Client team of a City firm in 2019.
