Yousafa is an associate solicitor in the private client team.
Yousafa completed her training contract in 2013 with a London-based law firm. Upon qualifying as a solicitor, she continued working in their private client department. Yousafa is experienced in providing advice to individuals, trustees, executors and attorneys on various private client matters including wills, probate, trusts including charitable trusts, tax, estate planning and taxation matters with an international element. Yousafa also has experience of working on deputyship matters involving the Court of Protection.
Prior to qualifying, she undertook an internship at an international professional services firm, where she travelled to the firm’s offices in Kabul, Afghanistan, where she worked for Ministry of Finance advising companies in relation to their tax position.
Yousafa joined Russell-Cooke in January 2016.
- Yousafa received her Law LLB degree with First Class Honours from the University of London, where she was awarded the Sweet and Maxwell Publishing Prize and the Cambridge University Press Prize for excellent performance and highest grade in her year. She went on to achieve a Distinction in her LPC in 2010.
- Yousafa completed the STEP diploma course in Trusts and Estates (England & Wales) and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
