How we can help

When a relationship breaks down, there are many issues which need to be resolved, including sorting out your finances or working towards an arrangement for your children.

There is no 'one size fits all' option when it comes to resolving these issues and that is why we offer a range of different ways in which we can help you and your family move forward.

Who we are

We are a top 100 London-based law firm and our team, consisting of the family, children and education teams, is one of the largest in London.

Many of our specialist solicitors are rated as leaders in their field, recommended in both the Legal 500 and Chambers. All of our team are members of Resolution, the national organisation of family lawyers. Across the team we are represented on specialist panels and engage in committee work for Resolution and The Law Society.

We are also backed up by strong supporting expertise from our colleagues working in related areas, including trusts and inheritance, conveyancing, French property, and general commercial services.

We have offices in Kingston, Putney and Holborn. We can also meet with you, by appointment, at our meeting rooms in the City of London, Mayfair and Canary Wharf.

More information about our family team can be found below.

Resolution’s 5700 members are family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. Our members follow a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. Our members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family - and in particular the best interests of children.

We offer a range of costs packages including some fixed fees and we will discuss whether these are appropriate for your case when you call us.

Charges are usually based on our hourly rates plus administrative charges and disbursements. We will provide you with an initial estimate of your likely legal costs and will update this as your requirements or the circumstances of the work change.
