Russell-Cooke is one of eight solicitors' firms and nine barristers' chambers who have been named on the London 2012 Pro Bono Legal Advice and Representation Service. The selected panel will be providing legal advice to athletes, coaches, team officials, national Olympic committees, national Paralympic committees and international federations between 9 July and 12 September 2012.
The panel has been set up at the request of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The panel was selected from more than 150 applications by The Bar Council, the Law Society, the British Association of Sport and Law and independent dispute resolution service Sport Resolutions.
Russell-Cooke will be providing advice on sports law, criminal litigation, defamation and privacy, and personal injury.
