Our regulation team acted for UKME, a company that provides assistance and concierge services to the Dubai Government and its Royal Family.
Russell-Cooke was retained because of threats made by a former employee who said he had confidential information and would release it to the media (UK mission enterprise Ltd v Peter Lendvai 2017). Attempts to resolve the matter with the ex-employee were unsuccessful.
On Thursday 21 December 2017, the High Court granted an interim injunction against the former employee and ordered him to pay costs, including an interim sum of £10,000 to be paid within 28 days.
This is the latest matter that shows the team's expertise in reputation management and privacy cases developed over the past twenty years for clients ranging from high net worth individuals through to multinational organisations.
