Francesca Kaye, a past president of the London Solicitors Litigation Association, has taken up a key judicial appointment at the Chancery Division.

The start of May sees a new role for former Russell-Cooke partner Francesca Kaye, who has been appointed as a Master of the Chancery Division, one of the courts that make up London's flagship Business and Property Court, based in the Rolls Building.

One of a select group of six procedural judges responsible for all case management of an action, from inception to trial by the High Court itself, the Chancery Masters deal with adjudicating much of the daily work passing between parties in an action listed in that particular court.

Kaye takes up post as new Chancery Master is available to read on the CDR website via subscription.
