Russell-Cooke has enhanced its real estate practice with the appointment of commercial property partner, Robert Lusher.
Robert joins from Cannings Connolly, a niche commercial property firm in the City where he advised institutional property owners, investors, occupiers and developers on the full range of real estate transactions. As well as advising on transactions involving high value commercial, leisure and retail centres, Robert also advised on the launch of the UK’s largest property investment fund.
Russell-Cooke’s real estate practice is currently ranked Band 1 (Lower Mid-Market) in Chambers UK and Tier 2 for Real Estate: Retail in The Legal 500. Over the past year the team has worked on a number of significant transactions including: the £85.4 million sale of distribution warehouses in the Midlands on behalf of Clipstone Logistics REIT; the £50 million remodelling of Shell Mex House and the completion of the lease for Next’s new flagship store on Oxford Street. The team also continue to act for Pret A Manger on their property portfolio.

Robert’s appointment brings the number of partners at Russell-Cooke to 61.
