MPs call on Europe’s largest tour operator to furlough UK workers - The Financial Times

British MPs have called on Europe's largest tour operator Tui to put hundreds of employees with seasonal contracts on furlough after the company refused to do so.

The letter to Tui, signed by more than 40 MPs, accuses the company of "deliberately refusing furlough to employees who are entirely eligible to receive it."

Jeremy Coy, however, comments in the Financial Times that, for companies, the risks and uncertainties of furloughing seasonal staff could outweigh the benefits.
