Helping clients when they want to benefit charity

Our client prepared a will leaving her estate to 20 charities with 11 individual bequests. The client did not have any immediate family but wanted to ensure that charities benefited over and above wider family. The client appointed Russell-Cooke Trust Company to act as executor of her will safe in the knowledge that their impartiality and approach would mean the charities would benefit and her wishes carried out. This was particularly important given the client had left numerous letters setting out her wishes and her will created animosity amongst some family members.
