Russell-Cooke has been recognised in five categories in the 'The Times' Best Law Firms' 2021 report. The firm was recommended by its peers for:
- Financial crime, fraud and regulatory
- Inheritance and succession
- Landlord and tenant.
The Times's research partner, international market research firm Statista, asked solicitors in England and Wales to recommend the best law firms in any of 26 categories covering business, public and private-client fields. Those with the most votes from 4,619 respondents made it into The Times Best Law Firms 2021. According to The Times, the list is based primarily on one question asked of solicitors: other than your own firm, which practice would you instruct in this area of work?
Senior Partner John Gould said: "It is good news that we have been named in five categories in this year's report. This listing is based entirely on the recommendations of our peers. Lawyers are key referrers for us and a substantial client group - they are also our competitors. Unsolicited recommendations from this group as the law firm they would instruct are extremely pleasing, especially this year when so many of our practitioners have had to go above and beyond to service their clients effectively. Only 200 of the 11,000 firms included in the survey are included in the list, so it is gratifying to be one of them."
