Russell-Cooke has today announced the appointment of Neil Dryer as a partner in the firm's real estate department.

Neil joins from CMS where he was a senior associate in the real estate team, having joined legacy firm Nabarro upon qualification in 2007.

With more than 12 years' experience in the property industry, Neil acts for a range of real estate clients including institutional investors, and he has particular expertise in the healthcare, infrastructure, logistics and data centre sectors. He has also advised property entrepreneurs and international investors, including HNW individuals and Family Offices.

Neil's practice is UK-wide, and includes working on some of the largest real estate transactions in London - acting for 'household names' - as well as regeneration schemes with local councils and mixed-use development projects, notably in the South East and Midlands. He has also advised on inward investments into the UK property market, including for clients based in the Middle East and Asia, as well as joint ventures and other complex real estate finance matters.

Neil will be based at Russell-Cooke's head office in Putney, and officially joins the firm on 6 January 2020.

Arnold Isaacson, partner in the real estate team at Russell-Cooke, commented:

"We are delighted to welcome Neil to the firm. He brings with him real depth of experience including with institutional, as well as international, clients. This experience will complement our existing offering as we continue to see growing demand for services from inward investors seeking to enter the UK real estate market. This is an exciting time for the team. Neil joining further strengthens our practice as we continue to evolve in line with changing client requirements and emerging opportunities in the industry."

Neil Dryer added:

"Russell-Cooke is known in the marketplace as one of the leading real estate practices in the UK and I am very pleased to be joining the team. I am extremely excited about the opportunities ahead and looking forward to working with my new colleagues."

Russell-Cooke's real estate department has for some years been ranked by Chambers UK in Band 1 for the London lower mid-market sector, and has recently been recommended by The Legal 500 for the 'technically skilled' team, who provide 'a personalised and responsive service'.

Neil Dryer's appointment follows the appointment of partner Robert Lusher to the team in April 2019 and brings the total number of partners at Russell-Cooke to 58. He will also be joined by senior associate Edward Fairweather who starts work in the real estate team on the same day.
