Russell-Cooke's Joint Managing Partner, Alison Regan, was shortlisted in two categories of the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2022. Alison is a finalist for Woman of the Year: Business Growth (mid-size) and Inspirational Woman of the Year.

These awards spotlight individuals and companies who support caregiving responsibilities, female leadership, and celebrate diversity. The winners chosen are individuals who maximise the potential of women in wealth and create a platform to collectively exercise positive social influence on the sector.

Citywealth is a media company focused on the private wealth management, charity, private client and high-net-worth sectors. Alongside its many publications and Leaders Lists, Citywealth also hosts a Powerwomen Club for senior women in the wealth industry. Its members must have at least 15 years of experience in the private wealth sector and include heads of private banking, heads of department, managing director level or a senior partner.

Alison became Russell-Cooke's Joint Managing Partner in February 2021 and has been on the Board for three years. She leads the contentious trust and succession team. She advises a range of clients including private individuals, charities, trustees, administrators and beneficiaries on the complete range of succession, probate and trust disputes.

Alison commented: “It is a real pleasure to be recognised by the Powerwomen Awards judging panel. Whilst I won’t pretend to feel entirely comfortable being called a Powerwoman, I am very aware that as a senior woman in the private wealth sector and in a law firm I have a role to play in leading by example and demonstrating what is possible. Those on these shortlists with me are all impressive high-achieving women so being awarded a nomination alongside them is a genuine honour.”

Now the nominees have been named, the winners will be chosen from the shortlists by a public vote. Voting closes on 21 January 2022 and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 3 March 2022.
