Rare is a specialist diversity recruitment company with expertise in graduate recruitment and development. Rare’s Contextual Recruitment System (CRS) provides real time contextual information allowing employers to identify exceptional candidates they might otherwise miss. The organisation has contextualised over 400,000 applications to date, and has built one of the largest data sets of the social mobility status of top graduates in the UK. The system measures candidates' achievements, including academic performance at university, against the classification systems Rare has developed. This enables employers to see candidates' achievements into context, and identify outperformers who might otherwise be missed.

Russell-Cooke’s graduate recruitment programme sees 10-12 trainees a year join the firm. Their two year training contract consists of four seats of six months duration in a variety of departments. These include corporate and commercial, charities and social business, family, private client, trust and estate disputes, litigation and real estate to name a few. The deadline for applications for training contracts starting in 2024 is 18 February. Applications can be made via the application portal from 11 November 2021.

Graduate recruitment partner Rebecca Fisher said: We have fantastic trainees and a very successful graduate recruitment programme. It is important to us that we keep our recruitment process and trainee programme under regular review. Not all candidates’ achievements look the same on paper. Rare’s CRS provides an excellent opportunity for us to identify those high calibre candidates who might otherwise be missed."
