Webinar: April 2020 Legislation Update - Safety & Health Practitioner

The first health and safety legislation update of the year, hosted by Barbour EHS, takes place from 11am – 12 noon on Wednesday 1 April 2020.

The speakers will provide an update on topical health and safety law issues, including:

• a discussion on managing difficult decisions relating to COVID-19 
• the creation of a new building safety regulator and the new fire safety bill
• food and drink labelling changes as a result of the UK's departure from the EU

Legal assistant James Meredith of Russell-Cooke will be on the panel. Over the past five months, James has been busy gaining practical experience in health and safety law under the supervision of partner Kizzy Augustin, who has strong expertise within this area. He is an active member of the 'Working Well Together Campaign' which aims to educate professionals within the construction industry as to ways to improve their health and safety performance.
