About Hannah

Relationship breakdown is a difficult and stressful time. I work with my clients to help them deal with the issues which arise in a constructive and pragmatic way. My priority is to minimise the long-term impact on the family and, where possible, to enable all concerned to move forward positively.

Hannah advises on all aspects of family and relationship breakdown, with a focus on complex financial matters and cases with an international element. Hannah’s focus is on achieving an early settlement where possible, but she is experienced in conducting matters through the court process.

Hannah has a particularly strong reputation in dealing with pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements including those with international elements and high-net-worth as well as those involving mid-level assets who may be seeking to protect assets that have been built up before marriage or provide for children from a previous relationship. She has co-authored a chapter for the Resolution Family Law Handbook on this area of law and is a member of the Family Law Agreements Group (FLAG), aiming to provide a constructive, client-focused approach to relationship planning.

Hannah is dual-qualified in both England & Wales and in Scotland and is a trained collaborative lawyer and mediator.  As an active member of Resolution (an association of family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of disputes), Hannah is part of the South West London Resolution Committee.

Hannah trained with Russell-Cooke and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. She was promoted to the partnership in 2020.

Hannah Minty is particularly strong in pre-nuptial agreements. She is easy to work with, sensible, measured, clever and a tough negotiator but one who does not argue unnecessarily. She is always willing to make sensible compromises and concessions.
