About Julia

My passion for employment law works hand in hand with my experience working and volunteering for several charities in the UK and overseas. I strive to understand the practical needs of each client to provide employment advice tailored to their values and objectives.

Julia advises charities and not-for-profits on all aspects of employment law, including workplace policies, contracts, restructures, discrimination and disciplinary processes. She also specialises in data protection law.

Before joining Russell-Cooke in May 2024, Julia qualified as a solicitor at a leading London law firm in 2023.

Julia is known for her excellent communication skills. She is fluent in Polish and Spanish, and has a good knowledge of Bosnian.

  • Advised charities on navigating people issues and managing employment law risks following the For Women Scotland judgment
  • Advised a major international refugee-support charity on an overseas working policy and day-to-day practice
  • Supported a well-established UK organisation through a complex restructure involving collective redundancy consultation
