Fiona Forsyth is a senior associate in the family team.

Since 2005 she has exclusively practised family law. Fiona advises on all aspects of private family law with particular expertise in resolving financial and children issues following relationship breakdown, often involving an international element.

She regularly deals with mid to high-net-worth cases, often involving complex business and property assets situated both in the UK and abroad.

Fiona also has considerable experience in advising parents in disputes relating to the living and care arrangements for their children, applications for the international relocation of children from this jurisdiction notably to the US and Europe, and she is known as a "skillful tactician" in these cases.

Also known for her mature and pragmatic approach, she firmly keeps an eye on the bigger picture in all her cases remaining focused on clients' needs and objectives, both personal and financial. She is committed to resolving disputes in a constructive way whenever possible but she is a firm and tenacious litigator, if litigation is needed.

Fiona trained at a major city firm and qualified in 1993 practising for several years as a commercial and shipping litigator.

She joined Russell-Cooke in 2013 as a senior associate.
