The planning team at Russell-Cooke have obtained planning permission for a once in a generation extension and refurbishment of a London landmark building. The team recently acted on the legal aspects of obtaining the planning permission for the House of Fraser department store on Oxford Street.
The Art Deco building is of architectural merit and is within the Harley Street Conservation Area. A change of use application will provide offices, a rooftop restaurant, a basement gym, replacement sixth and seventh floors and new eighth floor. Urban realm improvements to the surrounding roads are also a part of the development.
The team consisted of partner Alex Ground assisted by associate Amanda Brodie.
