For our upcoming breakfast seminar, lawyers from our enfranchisement and residential property teams will guide you through the latest developments, along with a panel discussion where they will take a deeper dive into the topics covered.
The speakers will provide an overview of recent leasehold reforms and explore the impact of the Building Safety Act 2022 on residential leasehold sales and purchases.
The seminar will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions and networking over pastries and breakfast refreshments. We hope that you will join us for an insightful conversation and opportunity to connect.

Shabnam will touch on various key areas including lease extensions and the right to manage
- Bryony Shawe, associate in our residential property team, will provide a broad overview of the impact of the Building Safety Act 2022 (the Act) on residential sales and purchases of leasehold properties and the initial steps to take when selling a flat or apartment within a “relevant building” as defined in the Act
- Panel discussion: Shabnam Ali-Khan and Bryony Shawe will be joined by Morris John and Laurent Vaughan for a panel discussion where there will be an opportunity to take questions
